About

Gabriella Grill (b. 1993; Columbia, Maryland) received her BFA in Printmaking from The Maryland Institute College of Art in 2015. Grill is an interdisciplinary artist working in sculpture using textiles, silicone, and discarded clothing, furniture, and household objects. Grill's work grapples with the relationships between consumers and their collections of material goods. Working with her own discarded objects and also those salvaged from thrift stores, Grill creates memorials ranging from assemblage monuments to synthetic fossils of the castaways.
