Damon Casarez

Damon Casarez is an artist working with photography, specifically the genres of portraiture, and still life. His practice explores his Mexican-American experience through a multi-generational lens. He uses photography to bring visibility to often-overlooked narratives within the Latinx experience, while also building community with others who share aspects of his history. Before Stanford, he was a freelance editorial assignment photographer focused on social issue stories.
