About

Adam is a Stanford-educated documentary filmmaker from England. His films focus on characters experiencing rapid change in their lives. To date, he has produced, directed and edited four short documentaries in America: The Diner, Love & Allegiance (co-directed with Tijana Petrovic), Shangri-La, Role Play, and one feature documentary in China: The Land of Many Palaces (co-directed with Song Ting) about the relocation of farmers into the new 'ghost city' of Ordos. In addition to making his own films, he has worked for TED as a media consultant, Rabbit Bandini Productions as a cinematographer, Stanford’s Office of Public Affairs as a videographer, the China Central Academy of Fine Arts as a lecturer, and the Chinese National Academy of Painting as an art trader. 
 
In the future he plans to further expand his teaching experience, and continue to pursue documentary work about urbanisation in China and elsewhere.
