Stanford University has announced the landmark acquisition of the personal archive of renowned Filipina American artist Pacita Abad, alongside three of her artworks. This joint acquisition by Stanford Libraries and the Cantor Arts Center secures Abad’s legacy at the very place where her artistic career began, when she arrived at Stanford in the early 1970s as a graduate student.
