Call for Submissions: 11th Annual Undergraduate Juried Exhibition

The Department of Art & Art History invites ANY current undergraduate student at Stanford University (including graduating seniors) to submit their works of art for our juried exhibition to be mounted in the Stanford Art Gallery in the Fall of 2025. Present your work to an esteemed jury! Display your art to thousands of visitors! Acquire valuable exhibition skills!

Deadline: Monday, June 2

Exhibition Dates: October 7 - December 5, 2025

Artwork will be installed by participating artists with help from our professional staff during the first week of classes in September. Any medium will be considered, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, works on paper, sculpture, ceramics, installation art, digital media, video, and performance. No size restrictions. Students are encouraged to visit the Stanford Art Gallery (re-opens May 13) before applying to determine feasibility of projects.

Application Materials:

  • Images of up to 3 works: JPG only at 72 dpi, 1920 pixels on the longest side, 3 MB max
  • Common digital movie formats accepted (mp4, .mov, etc.)
  • File names should be formatted as: lastname_firstname_image#.jpg
  • In the description box, include title, year, medium, and dimensions. Please also include installation details (if applicable) as well as artist statement and brief bio.

The Department of Art & Art History reserves the right to disqualify application materials not prepared to these specifications or any incomplete submissions. We only accept digital images and video of the work, and nothing printed out and delivered in person will be considered. Thank you!
