2025 Murphy Cadogan Art Awards Announced

MFA Art Practice students Alexa Burrell, Vincent Chong AKA Crystal Monkey, Enam Gbewonyo, and Bailey Scieszka were named 2025 Cadogan Awardees by SOMArts. The winners of the Murphy and Cadogan scholarships each receive support for their MFA studies, benefit from participation in a professionally curated exhibition at SOMArts Cultural Center, and mentorship from curator Kevin B. Chen.
SOMArts is proud to partner with the San Francisco Foundation to present the 2025 Murphy and Cadogan Contemporary Art Awards Exhibition, a focused look at the future of the Bay Area visual arts. An opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on November 6, 6–9 PM. Other awardees include:
