The Department of Art & Art History at Stanford University presents Gleanings, an exhibition of work by MFA Documentary Film students, on view from February 20 to March 2, 2018 at the Gunn Foyer and Miller Discussion Space in the McMurtry Building. The opening event and reception will take place on Wednesday, February 21, from 4:30-6 PM in the atrium of the McMurtry Building.
On view at the Gunn Foyer will be eight short documentaries by 1st year MFA Documentary Film candidates. Shot on black and white 16mm film with non-sync sound, they display a variety of students’ imaginative responses to the constraints of the medium. In the Miller Discussion Space, eight digital short documentaries by current 2nd year MFA Documentary Film candidates will be projected.
