Please join us for a dialogue with the authors of the newly published book Mondrian’s Dress: Yves Saint Laurent, Piet Mondrian, and Pop Art. Called “glamorous yet scholarly" by Art in AmericaMondrian’s Dress charts a new path for thinking about the relationship between modern art and fashion. Nancy J. Troy is Professor Emerita and Ann Marguerite Tartsinis is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art & Art History at Stanford University. In addition to the current challenges of academic publishing and the central role of visual design in their book, Troy and Tartsinis will discuss the process of collaborative authorship across the presumed student/advisor divide.

VISITOR INFORMATION: The McMurtry Building is located at 355 Roth Way on Stanford campus. Visitor parking is free all day after 4pm on weekdays, except by the Oval.
