The Department of Art & Art History presents a screening of short films by students enrolled in FILMPROD114: Intro to Film and Video Production, Spring 2025. Q&A and reception with the filmmakers to follow the screening.
Featured Films:
- Existence as Resistance by Dakota Lawlar & Kevin Chen | This experimental documentary explores Stanford's Clayman Institute for Gender Research and what it means to study gender during this time.
- The Beekeeper by Audrey Kwon & Vivianna Varlack | A peek into a beekeeper's outlook on life at the Stanford Farmers' Market.
- Karate Kid and Dad by Helen Koo | A 9-year old boy and his dad's bonding through learning karate together, and the heartwarming experience of going to their first tournament.
- Audiobook by Mason Barrett | At his office a man listens to the audiobook his brother sent him. Things start to go wrong as the recording and reality blend.
VISITOR INFORMATION: The McMurtry Building is located on Stanford campus at 355 Roth Way. Visitor parking is free after 4pm on weekdays, except by the Oval. Alternatively, take the Caltrain to Palo Alto Transit Center and ride the free Stanford Marguerite Shuttle.
