2025 Spring FILMPROD114 Screening

The Department of Art & Art History presents a screening of short films by students enrolled in FILMPROD114: Intro to Film and Video Production, Spring 2025. Q&A and reception with the filmmakers to follow the screening.

Featured Films:

• Existence as Resistance by Dakota Lawlar & Kevin Chen | This experimental documentary explores Stanford's Clayman Institute for Gender Research and what it means to study gender during this time. 
• The Beekeeper by Audrey Kwon & Vivianna Varlack | A peek into a beekeeper's outlook on life at the Stanford Farmers' Market.
• Karate Kid and Dad by Helen Koo | A 9-year old boy and his dad's bonding through learning karate together, and the heartwarming experience of going to their first tournament.
• Audiobook by Mason Barrett | At his office a man listens to the audiobook his brother sent him. Things start to go wrong as the recording and reality blend. 

VISITOR INFORMATION: The McMurtry Building is located on Stanford campus at 355 Roth Way. Visitor parking is free after 4pm on weekdays, except by the Oval.
