Jeffrey Seth Colen came to the documentary film program at Stanford after spending five years in China and Germany, mostly working in film production. He will be pursuing documentary producing and is interested in good nonfiction film stories spanning many topics. He is passionate about documentaries that have wide appeal but is also very much interested in social issue and political films. Jeffrey speaks fluent Mandarin and German. He holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Columbia University and was the recipient of a DAAD Fellowship in Berlin.
