My recent work has been producing four different photography projects including Water in the West, Global Water, American Public Library and the New Deal Legacy Project. Water, public libraries and the New Deal may all seem like unrelated subjects for my photography. However, each is about the public domain. In an increasingly privatized world what are the things we have in common? Taken together these subjects begin to define the commons of our shared public space.
